Clark County Genealogical Society A Chapter of
the Ohio Genealogical Society
The office
of the Clark County Genealogical Society is located on the third
floor of the Clark County Heritage Center within the Fisher Family Library

Join Meetings are held the second Saturday of the month
at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Center either in Discovery Hall on the first floor
or in the third floor Library. All meetings are open to the
public. At meetings you can find out about becoming a member of
the Genealogical Society or a member of the First Families and/or Settlers of
Clark County. The yearly membership fee is $12.00 for one person or $15.00
for a family membership.
Resources & Research The research library of
the Clark County Genealogical Society has been combined with the holdings of the
Heritage Center, and is available to researchers.
Resources
include a large card file of obituaries, marriages, newspaper clippings
regarding veterans, and burials; cemetery readings; surname files; five
generation charts; newspaper abstracts for 1829 - 1841; LDS microfiche of
documents related to Clark County, and family histories.
The Fisher
Family Library and Archives holdings include old newspapers, original wills,
biographical information, maps and plat books, photographs, and much, much
more.
